The WSNUEEE A815 is a plug-in waterless aroma diffuser built around one idea: you should not have to manage your scent. Fill the glass bottle with pure oil, push it into a wall outlet, and it handles the rest — 8 hours of gentle diffusion, then 16 hours of quiet rest, repeating every day on its own. No water tank, no power cord, no app, no schedule to program.
If you have been looking for a plug-in essential oil diffuser with no water that suits a bedroom, bathroom, study or entryway, this is the whole product in one sentence. Below is what it does, how the automatic cycle works, and which oils it wants.
What makes the A815 different
The A815 uses inverted ultrasonic diffusion. The bottle sits inside the body, upside down, and a cotton wick draws oil up to a small atomizing nozzle. Nothing is heated, nothing is diluted, and nothing is added to the air except fragrance. That last part matters: a waterless diffuser does not raise the humidity in your room, so you are not adding damp to a bedroom wall or a bathroom shelf.
Because the body plugs directly into the wall, there is no cord to hide and no countertop footprint. The plug rotates 90° to fit either outlet orientation and folds flat, which is why the A815 disappears into a room the way a nightlight does.
The 8-hour / 16-hour logic, and why we built it that way
Most diffusers ask you to decide when scent happens. The A815 simply assumes a human day: 8 hours when you are there, 16 hours when you are not. During those 8 hours it releases a short burst of mist, then rests for a few minutes, then repeats. After 8 hours it stops on its own and rests for 16 — then starts again the next day.
That default is what makes the A815 pleasant to live with:
- Evenings take care of themselves. Plug it in beside the bed with lavender, and it works through the night and is already off by morning. You do not have to remember to switch it off, and it is not burning oil while you sleep somewhere else.
- Workdays take care of themselves. Leave it running in a home office with sweet orange and it stops when your day does, then starts fresh the next morning before you sit down.
- Oil lasts. Resting for two-thirds of the day is the single biggest reason a 15 mL bottle can run for weeks instead of days.
One honest note: after roughly 15 days of continuous operation the unit enters a protection shutdown and stops. That is deliberate, not a fault — press the control button or unplug and re-plug to start the next cycle. It is covered in the A815 setup guide.
Three levels, and what the pauses actually mean
One button runs everything. Press once for Light, twice for Medium, three times for Strong; the LED blinks back the same number of times. Long-press for three seconds to power off.
At every level the A815 sprays for about 4 seconds and then pauses — 10 minutes on Light, 6 on Medium, 3 on Strong. People who expect a humidifier's continuous fog often read those pauses as a malfunction. They are the design: short bursts keep a room lightly scented without the scent stacking up into something heavy, and they are what keeps oil consumption this low.
| Level | Mist | Pause | Oil use | 15 mL bottle lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Light | 4 seconds | 10 minutes | ~0.06 g/h | ~30 days |
| Medium | 4 seconds | 6 minutes | ~0.10 g/h | ~17 days |
| Strong | 4 seconds | 3 minutes | ~0.17 g/h | ~10 days |
Runtime figures are manufacturer lab references at 8 hours of active diffusion per day; actual results vary with oil formulation and room conditions.
Which oils the A815 wants
Pure oil, straight from the bottle. The A815 is designed for compatible pure essential oils and pure fragrance oils with no water and no dilution — common options such as lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, sweet orange, lemon and cedarwood all work directly.
Two failure modes to avoid, and they are opposites:
- Too thin. Water-based or heavily diluted oils will not atomize properly and can clog the nozzle.
- Too thick. Very viscous formulations — some woody oils such as sandalwood and vetiver fall here — can stall the wick. Oils in the 5–20 mPa·s range tend to atomize best.
Perfumes with high alcohol content and oils with added carrier liquids are also out. More detail lives in our oil purity and viscosity guide.
Where the A815 fits — and where it does not
The A815 is rated for 15 m², about 161 sq ft. That is a bedroom, a bathroom, a study, a closet, a hallway or a home office — personal-sized rooms, not open-plan living. If you are scenting a large space, look at the A320 (2,000 sq ft) or the TX500 (2,000 sq ft) instead; if you want something for a mid-size living room, the AE109 is the step up. Sizing advice is in how to size a diffuser by room.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to add water?
No. The A815 uses ultrasonic atomization and needs pure, undiluted oil. Adding water or using a water-based oil can clog the atomizer.
Why does the mist stop after a few seconds?
That is the smart cycle: 4 seconds of mist, then a 3–10 minute pause depending on the level. It repeats automatically during the 8-hour active window.
How long does a bottle of oil last?
About 30 days on Light, 17 on Medium and 10 on Strong for a 15 mL bottle, based on 8 hours of active diffusion per day.
Can I use my own essential oils?
Yes — most compatible pure essential and fragrance oils work directly, with no water and no dilution. Avoid watery, heavily diluted or very thick formulations.
Is there an app?
No, and that is intentional. One button, three levels, and a daily cycle that runs itself. App control is available on larger models such as the A320.
The short version
The A815 is for people who want a room to smell good without turning fragrance into a chore. Fill it, plug it in, and it runs 8 hours and rests 16 — every day, on its own. See the A815 on the product page for current pricing, or read the full setup guide if you already own one.
